Pharmacy focuses on the knowledge and skills of prescription dispensing used in medical treatment so that medication is used effectively and safely. A pharmacist works closely with hospital paramedics and the Community in ensuring that  patient treatment is appropriate.

The faculty’s vision is to make it a centre of excellence in education and pharmaceutical science which capable to act on global level.

The management of the faculty strives not only to maintain its current good standard but it also makes every effort to improve the quality of the faculty so that it is recognized as a faculty which can achieve national as well as international criteria of excellence. 

The Undergraduate students have to complete a minimum 144 credits to obtain a degree. In the final years, students have the option to take courses according to their preferred concentration. The main academic activities consist of in class lectures, lab practice, seminar, and final project.

 The discipline is divided into several concentrations as follows, biological pharmacy/natural substance, chemical pharmacy, pharmaceutical/bio pharmaceutical, and pharmacology and toxicology

 The Faculty of Pharmacy manages five courses as follows:

  • Pharmacy Undergraduate Program (Bachelor Program),
  • Professional Program (Pharmacist),
  • Pharmaceutical Science Graduate Program (Master Program),
  • Traditional Medicine Graduate Program (Master Program), and 
  • Doctor of Pharmaceutical Science (PhD/Doctorate Program)

The Faculty of Pharmacy has three research center as follows:

  • Research Center of Natural Medicines
  • Research Center of Bioavailability and Bio equivalence
  • Center of Service to The Community
